Directions

1.  Carve the jack-o-lantern:  In short (since I'm sure there are great websites for carving pumpkins).  Cut the top of the pumpkin off and remove all the seeds and strands.  Carve the pumpkin face.  I made the mouth closer to the base of the pumpkin so that it looks like the eggplant dip is coming out of it.  Place a votive inside and put the top of the pumpkin top back on. 

2.  Line a tray with foil.  Place the pumpkin on one end of the tray.  Spread the eggplant dip on the tray so that it looks like the pumpkin face it spitting it up.
